The TomTom One is an easy to use portable satellite navigation system incorporating touch screen technology and sleek design. TomTom’s award winning one design includes the plug and drive navigation software pre-installed and ready to use. This means no software download is needed and the TomTom can be used straight away, all the latest regional maps are already installed.

TomTom One Features

With TomTom one you can select from a choice of possible routes such as the shortest, fastest or set the unit to avoid toll roads etc. You can also specify waypoints and stops on your journey. The built in TeleAtlas maps have details of the recorded speed limits for many roads and the TomTom unit can be set to emit an audible warning when the speed limit has been exceeded.

The TomTom one delivers clear voice instructions in a choice of 55 voices and 36 languages. Cleverly the volume of voice instructions raises as the vehicle moves faster to ensure you never miss an instruction. TomTom One fully supports postcode navigation in the UK and Northern Ireland and it is easy to view your entire route before you leave. The maps are displayed in 2D or 3D mode on the anti-glare screen and can be easily seen day or night. Additionally an on screen compass can be displayed to assist orientation.

The tom tom touch screen is very sensitive and responds well. I don’t use my computer much but its easy to plug in and use. The route maps are easy to follow and usually very good.
