With TomTom One XL UK you can select from a choice of possible routes such as the shortest, fastest or set the unit to avoid toll roads etc. The screen is a larger 4.3" anti glare. You can also specify waypoints and stops on your journey. The built in TeleAtlas maps have details of the recorded speed limits for many roads and the TomTom unit can be set to emit an audible warning when the speed limit has been exceeded.

The TomTom One XL UK delivers clear voice instructions in a choice of 55 voices and 36 languages. Cleverly the volume of voice instructions raises as the vehicle moves faster to ensure you never miss an instruction. TomTom One XL UK fully supports postcode navigation in the UK and Northern Ireland and it is easy to view your entire route before you leave. The maps are displayed in 2D or 3D mode on the anti-glare screen and can be easily seen day or night. Additionally an on screen compass can be displayed to assist orientation.
